Local Services
Read your Local Services ads' leads, their calls and messages and your business verification, and rate a lead from how it really went. Both use the Google Ads access you already gave.
Local Services ads are the "Google Screened" and "Google Guaranteed" ads a local business pays for per lead. These two tools read and rate those leads with the Google Ads access you already gave: no new sign-in and no new permission. A workspace whose account runs no standalone Local Services campaign is told so, and nothing more is read. (A Local Services campaign inside Performance Max is not seen yet.)
lsa_leads
Read. The leads your Local Services ads brought over a window, and the business's verification.
- The window is the last 30 days unless you give
start_dateandend_date(YYYY-MM-DD, a year at most).lead_typenarrows it to phone calls, messages or bookings. - Counts by type and status: how many leads, how many you were charged for, how many Google credited or is still deciding on, and how many already have your rating.
- The newest 20 leads one by one, each with its type, status, category and service, whether you were charged and rated it, and its calls and messages counted (the calls' total length too). The conversations are always read lead by lead, for the newest 50 leads.
- Your verification documents (licences, insurance, background check and business registration), the ones that need attention first: rejected with Google's reason, out of date, or expiring within 30 days, with the date. Each document is judged by its newest upload, so one you have replaced no longer counts against you. Never a licence number, a licensee's name or a document link.
- The people on the profile, by status and type, never a name.
- Contact details are left out. The customer's name, phone number and
email, and the call recording links, come back only with
include_contact=true, and AdCopilot keeps no copy of them. A lead Google wiped out has none. Google does not return leads in healthcare categories at all. - Two audit checks come with it, in the deep audit too: charged leads still without your rating 7 days on, and verification that is rejected, out of date or expiring. Both say what to do in Google Ads.
How did my Local Services leads go this month, and which still need a rating?
lsa_rate_lead
Write. Sends your rating of one lead to Google, which records it and uses it to send leads that fit your business. Where Google offers lead credits (not in EMEA, health care or tax), it can also answer with a bonus-credit decision.
- One lead per call:
lead_id(digits, aslsa_leadslists it),survey_answer(VERY_SATISFIED, SATISFIED, NEUTRAL, DISSATISFIED or VERY_DISSATISFIED) and areasonthat goes with it: BOOKED_CUSTOMER, LIKELY_BOOKED_CUSTOMER, SERVICE_RELATED or HIGH_VALUE_SERVICE when you were satisfied; GEO_MISMATCH, JOB_TYPE_MISMATCH, NOT_READY_TO_BOOK, SPAM, DUPLICATE or SOLICITATION when you were not; none for NEUTRAL, which takes no words either (Google has no field for them).OTHERtakes your own words inother_reason_text. - A rating is final, so your AI client asks before every one. A lead that is not this account's, or one you already rated, is refused and nothing is sent.
- It returns Google's decision where Google offers lead credits: a bonus credit issued, none because your cap is reached, or none because the lead is not eligible. A credit Google issues is available in about two months.
- Rate only from how the lead really went, in your own words. Never mark a real lead as spam or a duplicate to get a credit.
- Adding a note to a lead's conversation is not offered: nothing says whether the customer would see it.
