Money fence
It asks before it spends
On a new workspace it asks your daily budget first, then builds the campaign switched off.
- Live
- A question, not a cap
- Built switched off
How it holds
A question, then a switch left off
Two things happen on a new workspace, and neither of them is a limit on spending.
- It asks for your daily budget
- Before it builds a campaign on a new workspace, it asks what you are comfortable spending in a day, and it asks in dollars.
- It builds the campaign switched off
- The campaign it builds is paused. You switch it on in Google Ads yourself, once you have looked at what it made.
- It is not a cap on spending
- Nothing here stops a campaign spending once you switch it on. The fence is about what gets built, never about what gets spent.
- It is a check on our server
- The question is asked before the build runs, by the connector rather than by a sentence in a prompt, so an instruction cannot talk past it.
The exchange
The budget question, as it happens
A build asked for, a budget question back, a figure in dollars, a campaign left off.

Limits
Where the fence does not reach
A claim is only worth what its limits are, so here are this one's.
It is off for workspaces marked "pro", it does not retro-fit onto long-standing workspaces that never used Start Here, and if the check cannot run the call is allowed and logged.
Nothing changes until you allow it in your AI client — approval is your client's own tool-permission prompt. If you tell your client to always allow a tool, it will run that tool without asking again — which is why the limits that hold either way are server-side: it cannot delete, it cannot publish a container, it will not switch on the campaign it built, and it asks for your budget before it builds.
- It is not a guarantee
- It is a check, and the paragraph above says exactly when the check does not run. A check is worth more than a promise and less than a locked door.
- It is not your billing
- Your payment method, your account budget and your billing thresholds stay where they are, in Google Ads, under your own sign-in.
